Fostering connection and growth through engaging storytelling.

Wayfarer’s Hearth creates guided online tabletop role-playing groups where kids and teens build confidence, connection, creativity, and communication through collaborative storytelling and play. These small-group experiences are designed to help participants feel supported, included, and empowered to grow at their own pace.

A Thoughtful Approach to Play

At the table, kids step into shared stories where they solve problems, make decisions, and navigate challenges together. It naturally supports communication, teamwork, creative thinking, and self-expression. Because there is no single “right” way to participate, each child can engage in a way that feels comfortable while still being part of the group. Sessions are designed with clear structure, flexible participation, and multiple ways to contribute, allowing every participant to feel included and capable. While these groups are not therapy, they are intentionally guided using therapeutic-informed practices to support confidence, connection, and meaningful social growth through play.

Britt Scott is a proud mom and experienced Game Master who is also a certified Therapeutic Game Master, bringing an intentional and supportive approach to every table she runs. While Wayfarer’s Hearth groups are non-clinical and not therapy, Britt’s therapeutic gaming background helps inform the supportive, structured approach used throughout programs. She creates story-driven spaces where kids and teens can connect, grow, and be themselves—grounded in the belief that confidence and communication develop most naturally when young people feel safe, supported, and part of something meaningful. Britt also co-facilitates therapeutic tabletop groups alongside a licensed therapist through Social Bridges, giving her experience in both clinical and non-clinical environments.

What Players and Families Have Shared

My dad and I always have so much fun with her! Every game is so rich and flavorful, 10/10 would recommend.
- Preteen player
Engaging, friendly, kind, and knowledgable. As a player who suffers anxiety sometimes at other tables when I'm new, she was amazing at making me feel comfortable and welcome. I can't wait to play at their table again.
