Explore Programs
At Wayfarer’s Hearth, we create welcoming, story-driven spaces where kids and teens can connect, build confidence, and be themselves. Through guided tabletop role-playing, participants explore imaginative worlds while practicing communication, teamwork, and self-expression in a structured, supportive environment. No prior experience is needed. Most groups meet online in small, guided sessions designed to help participants feel comfortable, supported, and engaged from home.

Each group meets online in a small, supportive setting where kids and teens actively take part in a shared story. Participants might solve problems together, explore a mystery, make decisions as a team, or step into a character to navigate different situations. Sessions are guided every step of the way with a balance of storytelling, collaboration, structure, and creativity to help each participant feel comfortable engaging at their own pace. Groups meet live through Zoom with beginner-friendly support provided before and during sessions. Each group uses a dedicated meeting link throughout the semester, creating consistency and familiarity for participants and families. Depending on the program, sessions may include:
  • collaborative storytelling
  • teamwork and problem-solving
  • roleplay and character interaction
  • light strategy and decision-making
  • creative thinking and social practice

No previous tabletop gaming experience is required.

Find belonging
These are welcoming spaces where participants can be themselves, build friendships, and feel a sense of belonging.
